What is 'setting' in drama (theatre)?
In theatre language, the setting is the time and place in which the action (scene) takes place. These location cards are an environment setting for drama scenes. 'Setting' should be distinguished from a drama 'set' which is the physical construct of the drama setting. Find out more about setting in drama here.
